Serving in the United States Air Force before switching to Fashion Design

I served in the United States Air Force for seven years (2012–2019) as a Medical Administration Technician (4A0). Though I’ve moved frequently throughout my life, I’ve always called Middle Tennessee home. I enlisted out of Nashville and began my service in San Antonio, Texas, where I completed basic training at Lackland AFB, attended technical school at Fort Sam Houston, and worked my first duty station at Randolph AFB. I later received orders to Ramstein AB, Germany, where I served for four and a half years and developed a deep appreciation for travel, tradition, and culture.

My career encompassed a range of administrative roles, including outpatient records, flight medicine, command support staff, medical readiness, emergency patient transport, and aeromedical evacuation and staging. My final assignment brought me back to the U.S. at Goodfellow AFB in west Texas before separating from the military in November 2019.

Two moves and one pandemic later, I returned to Nashville and began pursuing my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design at Belmont University’s O’More College of Architecture & Design. My global travel experiences and appreciation for diverse cultures have deeply shaped my perspective as a designer. I’m deeply inspired by craftsmanship, intentionality, and ecocentrism, and I’m passionate about contributing to a future where artistry and responsibility exist in harmony, enriching both people and the planet.

Thank you for taking time to learn more about me and the events that have influenced me as a designer! Be sure to check out my "About Me" page on my website for my full bio, and follow me on Instagram to keep up with my most up to date happenings! :)
